School Playing field Awash With Colour And Effort

Thursday 3rd March saw a return to normality in the effervescent sporting scene at Wymondham High School.
There were:
34 at rugby club
18 at netball club
14 at Year 7 Basketball club
12 in a year 8 Netball fixture who won and are now the Under 13 league champions!
Two girls football fixtures against Jane Austen College; both of which were won comfortably.

With so much activity, the playing field was obviously awash with colour and effort.

A huge congratulations to our Under 13 netball champions - a reward to excellent effort and attendance at training sessions. The rugby teams were looking to follow suit with cup finals coming up against Aylsham and KES in the next couple of weeks and a semi final for our Under 14s.
Seeing 30 girls representing the school in competitive football fixtures was awesome and testament to the hard work of Mr Steel and the PE department in supporting the players' development through â€‹regular training sessions. With more fixtures in the diary, the future is very bright for girls football at Wymondham High. Well done to all involved.
