Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education
The Curriculum Plan, which can be found below, shows the program of learning that our pupils will undertake in their three years of timetabled Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education (PSHE) lessons at Wymondham High. We cover a wide range of subjects and take a large influence from the world of PSHE. The PSHE Association describes PSHE as a subject that “helps pupils to stay healthy, safe and prepared for life – and work – in modern Britain." This is our aim at Wymondham High. Looking through three main themes: Relationships, Health and Wellbeing and Living in the Wider World we cover topics vital to pupil's success and happiness in life long after they leave us. Obviously, we also plan and take every opportunity to teach and discuss our three main values as a school: taking Responsibility, demonstrating Determination and acting with Humility.
