Safeguarding the wellbeing of our 1700 children daily, is our number one priority. To ensure we meet the needs of all our pupils, we require a colleague to join the Academy’s Safeguarding Team. Attitude and confidence are as important as experience because the successful candidate will undergo a rigorous training programme to ensure that not only are they gaining the necessary experience, but they feel able to face daily challenges. The role would involve attending meetings as well as administration duties [Ofsted describe our record keeping as “meticulous] for our looked-after-children, family support plans and social care liaison. You may currently be working with young people in a safeguarding role or you may want to gain experience of working in a secondary school for future career development. Whatever your reason, you must be motivated to ensure our pupils are safe. Always.
