We wish to appoint a full-time Teacher of Computing & ICT (maternity cover).
This is an opportunity to join an innovative and highly successful department where all students still choose either ICT or Computer Science at KS4. Computing and ICT results are consistently above national averages for both progress and attainment.
The leadership of the department is excellent and has contributed substantially to great outcomes for the pupils. The successful candidate will receive tremendous support.
The successful candidate would need to take over KS4 exam classes, to deliver the ICT/IMEDIA course at KS4 and to assess NEA units in Photoshop and multimedia interactive PowerPoint. We can help train the successful candidate, we are really looking for a good classroom practitioner with drive and a willingness to learn.
In addition they would need to teach Computer Science and ICT to Y7 and Y8.
Applications from both experienced teachers and NQTs are welcome. For further information or informal discussion about this post, please contact Mr Shaun Dickerson, Head of Computing, via [email protected].
